Warren Buffett: U.S. Prosperity has Been “Disproportionately Rewarding” the Wealthy

What’s the real problem with the U.S. economy? Billionaire investor Warren Buffett thinks it’s that rich people are benefiting too much.

“This has been a prosperity that’s been disproportionately rewarding to the people on top,” Buffett said in an interview Tuesday with PBS Newshour’s Judy Woodruff.

Buffett, the 86-year-old founder and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. BRK.A, +0.48% , is the world’s second-richest man, according to Forbes’ billionaires list, with a net worth of about $76 billion.
